THE MILLENARY
LANDSCAPE OF THE
HEART OF THE PENEDÈS

Few territories possess such extraordinary landscape diversity as the heart of the Penedès. And undoubtedly, nowhere else in the country has lived its bond with viticulture with such intensity, persistence, and awareness as this land. The vine has become its backbone, shaping not only the contours of the landscape, but also the identity of the territory and the people who have inhabited it for millennia.

Between the Mediterranean and the inland mountain ranges lies a mosaic of estates, paths, cliffs, forests, agricultural plains, dry-stone walls, olive trees, cropland, towns, and villages that form a natural, cultural, and historical landscape of incomparable value.

Throughout history, the vine has fostered the consolidation of one of Europe's oldest and most uninterrupted winemaking traditions. The secular transmission of craftsmanship among farmers and winegrowers has given rise to a viticultural heritage of incalculable value. Upon this legacy were laid the foundations of the country's first great sparkling wines, a tradition that Corpinnat's historical wineries have preserved to this day.

CULTURE
ROOTED IN THE
TERRITORY

Culture represents one of the most genuine expressions of the Penedès. Over the centuries, the bond between the land and its people has shaped an intangible heritage of extraordinary richness, kept alive through the continuity of traditions, local festivals, folk dances, and diverse artistic expressions that still bring together community life in the Penedès today.

The mosaic of landscapes in this land is also mirrored in an agri-food production of exceptional quality and variety. Vineyards, olive groves, cereals, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and livestock shape a larder intimately tied to seasonality and the local territory. From this bountiful larder has flourished a cuisine with true identity—faithful to local produce yet receptive to contemporary gastronomy. Corpinnat sparkling wines complete this gastronomic heritage, creating a natural dialogue with a culinary tradition sharing the very same values of origin, authenticity, and excellence.
